Baseball is more than a game. It teaches patience, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the confidence to keep showing up. Field to Field was created around the belief that those lessons should not depend on where a young person lives or what equipment they can afford. From Washington State to communities across Kenya, we connect young players through the game they already share. We collect and deliver baseball equipment, support local teams and coaches, create opportunities for camps and training, and help build pathways that connect baseball with education, mentorship, and leadership.

But Field to Field is not about bringing something to a community and walking away. It is about building alongside the people who are already doing the work. We listen to local coaches, players, families, and community leaders and ask what would help them grow the game in a way that lasts. Sometimes that means gloves and baseballs. Sometimes it means helping a girls’ team get to a tournament, creating educational opportunities for young athletes, improving a field, or simply making sure two groups of kids thousands of miles apart know they are part of something bigger. The distance between Washington and Kenya may be great, but once the game begins, there is far more that connects us than separates us.
