For the Love of the Game: Thank You, Baseballism!

From Seattle to Kenya, a shared love of baseball knows no boundaries.

Some gifts are measured by what they cost. Others are measured by the smiles they create.

During our August trip to Kenya, we had the incredible privilege of sharing a generous donation from Baseballism with young players from the Kongoni Baseball Network. And if you could have seen their faces, you would understand why this moment meant so much to us.

The excitement was contagious. The smiles were enormous. And the gratitude was something we'll never forget.

What makes this partnership especially meaningful is Baseballism's own story. Born from a youth baseball camp and built around a love for the game and the life lessons it teaches, Baseballism shares so many of the values that inspired us to start Field to Field.

For these young Kenyan athletes, receiving Baseballism gear was about more than getting something new. It was a reminder that their passion matters, their dreams are worth supporting, and they're part of a baseball community that stretches far beyond their own fields.

And we couldn't possibly leave out one of our favorite moments from the trip: two baseball guys from Seattle and Nairobi playing catch right on the Equator, proudly wearing their Baseballism gear! We might even claim a first for that one.

To the entire Baseballism team, thank you. Thank you for believing in the power of youth baseball, for your extraordinary generosity, and for helping us create memories that will stay with these players long after the equipment has been put to use.

From the Pacific Northwest to the fields of Kenya, it's amazing how far a shared love of baseball can travel.

Because at the end of the day, it's all for the love of the game.

Play the game. Share the game. Grow the game.
